Here’s Something Rarely Said (About Race)

From Jared Taylor, AMREN, 2/26/2015

…think we’re the only people who know how to kill? That the Japanese just had a little party for the locals in Nanking in 1937?

The Hutu and the Tutsi managed to kill about a million of each other with machetes. No telling what they could have done if they’d had the Wehrmacht.

White racial identity need not be malign at all. Mr. Valizadeh doesn’t seem to realize that the white people who stopped the slave trade, freed their own slaves, forced Africans to give up slavery, and gave black people basic civil rights all thought that blacks, on average, were less intelligent than whites. That was taken for granted until the 1950s–but it never sent them into genocidal frenzy.

The Catholic Pagan – On Feminism

From America The National Catholic Review 2/24

The Catholic Pagan: One of 10 Questions for Camille Paglia

In your view, what’s wrong with American feminism today, and what can it do to improve?

After the great victory won by my insurgent, pro-sex, pro-fashion wing of feminism in the 1990s, American and British feminism has amazingly collapsed backward again into whining, narcissistic victimology. As in the hoary old days of Gloria Steinem and her Stalinist cohorts, we are endlessly subjected to the hackneyed scenario of history as a toxic wasteland of vicious male oppression and gruesome female suffering. College campuses are hysterically portrayed as rape extravaganzas where women are helpless fluffs with no control over their own choices and behavior. I am an equal opportunity feminist: that is, I call for the removal of all barriers to women’s advance in the professional and political realms. However, I oppose special protections for women, which I reject as demeaning and infantilizing. My principal demand (as I have been repeating for nearly 25 years) is for colleges to confine themselves to education and to cease their tyrannical surveillance of students’ social lives. If a real crime is committed, it must be reported to the police. College officials and committees have neither the expertise nor the legal right to be conducting investigations into he said/she said campus dating fiascos. Too many of today’s young feminists seem to want hovering, paternalistic authority figures to protect and soothe them, an attitude I regard as servile, reactionary and glaringly bourgeois. The world can never be made totally safe for anyone, male or female: there will always be sociopaths and psychotics impervious to social controls. I call my system “street-smart feminism”:  there is no substitute for wary vigilance and personal responsibility.

What Was England Once Like

From National Review today “The homicide rate in England in 1920 was 0.84 and the assault rate was 2.39. In 1999, the corresponding rates were 1.44 and 419.29.”
Murder up 3 times, assaults up an unbelievable 200 times!
In 1920 it should be pointed out England began banning handguns!

Bad, Bad Apartheid – South Africa Misses You Dreadfully

Excerpt From Josh Gelernter, National Review, February 7, 2015

Image result for images apartheid

Things are very bad in South Africa. When the scourge of apartheid was finally smashed to pieces in 1994, the country seemed to have a bright future ahead of it. Eight years later, in 2002, 60 percent of South Africans said life had been better under apartheid. Hard to believe–but that’s how bad things were in 2002. And now they’re even worse.

When apartheid ended, the life expectancy in South Africa was 64–the same as in Turkey and Russia. Now it’s 56, the same as in Somalia. There are 132.4 rapes per 100,000 people per year, which is by far the highest in the world: Botswana is in second with 93, Sweden is in third with 64; no other country exceeds 32.

Before the end of apartheid, South African writer Ilana Mercer moved, with her family, to Israel; her father was a vocal opponent of apartheid, and was being harassed by South African security forces. A 2013 piece on World Net Daily quotes Mercer as saying, with all her anti-apartheid chops, that “more people are murdered in one week under African rule than died under detention of the Afrikaner government over the course of roughly four decades.” The South African government estimates that there are 31 murders per 100,000 people per year. Or about 50 a day. That would make South Africa the tenth most murderous country in the world, outpacing Rwanda, Mexico, and both Sudans. And that’s using South Africa’s official estimates–outside groups put the murder rate 100 percent higher. Choosing not to trust the South African authorities is a safe bet–South Africa’s government, which has been led by Nelson Mandela’s African National

“…raped by the side of the road”

The Daily Mail had a piece today (Wednesday, February 11, 2015) about a Saudi Cleric on TV saying that the reason American women drive is that they don’t “mind” getting raped by the side of the road.

Below is my comment as “The Seer”:

I’m really curious, where do the saw-dees stand on women riding a camel unescorted?  Push scooters, bicycles, surf boards, hang gliders?  I mean is it an across the board thing?  If it is what happens if a husband catches his wife riding their Roomba vacuum around the living room unescorted by a male relative?  Does he stone her to death?

From American Thinker – The Only Strategy to Defeat Jihad

By Jonathan David Carson

“Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but Islam is a terrorist religion.  Mohammed was a mass murderer and child molester, and devout Muslims have been following his example ever since.  As long as there is Islam, there will be “Islamic extremists….”

“…We could kill a billion Muslims on a lazy afternoon.  We don’t do it because we are not killers, not because we can’t.  They, on the other hand, would kill a billion of us if they could.  They just can’t.

Miniter Was Right

Newsmax Wanda Carruthers reports Tuesday, February 10, 2015 that  Lt. General Jerry Boykin has revealed that Susan Rice and Valeri Jarrett are calling the shots over the Iranian negotiations and the war with Issis, not Barack Obama.  Readers will remember that Stone-Pillow-The -Younger Richard Miniter a well-known international investigative reporter who has written fourteen books including the acclaimed Losing Bin Laden reported at the time of the Osama Bin Laden raid that Valeri Jarrett has twice postponed the raid for months thereby placing the lives of the SEALS and the mission as a whole in danger.  For that report Mr. Miniter was roundly laughed at by the administration and that any suggestion that Valeri Jarrett was anything but an advisor, albeit one protected by a large Secret Service detail for some reason, was dismissed.

Well who’s laughing now.  Read the Newsmax Story here.

Too Wonky

The Post-Obama Triumph of Conservatism

By Peter Ferrara

If you have read the above article in American Thinker here’s my comment.

Too wonky!  It’s the old argument that Republicans are better stewards of the welfare state than the Democrats.  Instead the fiscal object should be to return America to big growth and steeply rising standards of living by not spending trillions of dollars we don’t have to maintain tens of millions in idleness.  Or am I missing something here?
